Thursday, 26 September 2013
The Swedish Social Democrats party feels that one of the ways the Swedish economy will grow stronger is for its to dive into market where they have had little headway in the past The party head is now calling for increased expansion into the emerging economies.
The Social Democrats feels that through expanding diplomatic and business missions to places such as New York, Chinese Canton, and Brazilian São Paulo and establishing an embassy in Botswana's capital Gaborone, there could be a start to seeking news markets.
His aim is to reach the fast growing economies and for that the Social Democrats want to invest Skr250 million to raise Swedish exports.
One of the goals is to strengthen Swedish exports to the fast-growing economies like China, the party leader, Stefan Löfven, (pictured above) writes in a debate article in the Swedish business daily, Dagens Industri.
Let see if the shy Swedes would be able to stray out of their comfort zone to seek new challenges. With the economy looking downwards, probably the Swedes will have to, as a matter of new principle to get on their bikes and go search for some new markets.
