Sweden Producer Price Index remain unchanged month on month

Sweden's producer prices in total were unchanged from October to November. During the same period prices on the export market increased by 0.2 percent and on the import market by 0.4 percent. On the domestic market prices decreased by 0.2 percent.

According to Statistic Sweden which reported on the data, from a press release, lower prices for refined petroleum products reduced the index of the export-, import- and domestic markets.

On the export market, the lower prices were counteracted by price increases for several product groups such as pulp, paper and paperboard. On the import market the lower prices were counteracted by price increases for food products.

Prices for domestic supply, that is, domestic and import markets together, increased by 0.2 percent from October to November.

Compared to November of last year producer prices in total have decreased 3.1 percent. During the same period prices have decreased 4.4 percent on the export market, 3.7 percent on the import market and 1.5 percent on the domestic market. Prices for domestic supply have decreased 2.6 percent.
