One main reason to buy Swedish dairy is that the animals that produce meat and milk reared in Sweden are some of the healthiest in the world.

Animal welfare is so high here such that campaigners could even join the promotion of means and dairy consumption.

The Swedish National Veterinary Institute, confirms that livestock production in Swedish dairy farms have a low and controlled use of antibiotics and are resistant to bacteria, compared to other countries.

"But even if the situation in general is good, there are warning signs, both in terms of antibiotic consumption and the incidence of certain multi-resistant bacteria in different animals, writes Oskar Nilsson, of Swedish laboratory veterinarian, in a statement.
