Logistic company, Green Cargo crushes 350 job

Transport and logistics company Green Cargo is laying off 350 people. The company blames the effects of the recession which has hit the transportation more and and weaken the company's finances.

After four weeks of trial, together with the union to find solutions, an emergency restructuring contract could not be generated whereby working hours and wages would be reduced for five months, the company said in a statement. Therefore, the company will now gives notices of redundancy.
