Fall in Sweden’s Service Production Index

Swedish service production decreased by 0.5 percent in volume and working day adjusted figures in April 2012, compared to April 2011.

Official data from statistic Sweden show that Service production for February to April decreased by 0.1 percent in seasonally adjusted series compared to the period November to January.
Art, entertainment and recreation increased by 9.0 percent in volume and working day adjusted figures compared to the same period last year. Further, Human health and social work and Telecommunications increased by 8.9 and 7.6 percent, respectively.
