Dramatic increase in the number of redundancies in Sweden but not surprising

There number of worker in various Swedish industrial sectors facing redundancy  and the coming months has been analysed to be on the increase as the economic uncertainty continues to be an issue.

According to a new report from the Swedish employment authority, Arbetsförmedlingen, in its latest jobs forecast for next year presented today, 7,329 people were given notice in September 2012.

Various analysts have not been surprise given the persistent stalemate in the Europeans union crisis which account for the biggest market for Swedish exports. Sweden must export or dies and this is the effectwhen the export market area get stagnant.

The Employment Service's forecast for the future is bleak. In September there was a total of 7,329 people who were given notices, compared to 4,540 people the same period last year. This is an increase of over 60 percent and the prognoses for next year looks bleak, according the employment body.

"I think the job market will be much tougher. This means that we will see a higher unemployment rate," said Tord Strannfors, forecasting director of the employment authority.

The decline of the Swedish labour market came in September and despite initial resistance, it now looks like the entire Swedish economy is gradually imploding in that area.
Expected, in a Swedish jobs market that has remains persistent weak for many years will see more youths bearing the brunt and more non Swedish looking people or minority who will  chucked out of the jobs market first.

Earlier this year, the Swedish labour market had fared relatively well. But in September, setback came in when over 400 establishments around Sweden gaving notices of terminations.
