Dangerous tattoo ink common place in Finland

Friday, 24 August 2012
Be informed that there is the circulation of dangerous tattoo in Finland. Tatoo fans should note before they allow themselves to be scribed on.

One factor is that in Finland one can buy tattoo ink that other EU countries have banned because they contain components that spread allergy and carcinogens. The safety of tattoo inks used by professional tattoo artists here are the same as the paint that one buys to paint their house with.
Since the beginning of 2011, Denmark, Germany and Italy have withdrawn over 20 tattoo colours of different shades and brands from the market. They are banned because they contain everything from arsenic and nickel, the azo dyes and carcinogenic PAH compounds.

The Danish authorities considered that the increased cancer risk  associated with it is unacceptable.

However, the Nordic Tattoo Supplies asserts that their paint safety is number one and they their companies are assured the application of the right inks. They also assure that they follow the guidelines set down by the  Council of Europe's resolution, its highest recommendations for tattoo colours.
