Banking via mobile phone continues to be popular in Sweden

A growing phenomenon in the Swedish banking scene is that were more and more people are carrying out their banking transactions via the mobile phone instead of on the computer.
According to radio Sweden, mobile phone banking for the four big banks has now overtaken Internet Banking in then umber of logins.
This is made possible with help of banks' mobile apps which the four major banks, Handelsbanken, SEB, Swedbank and Nordea have adopted during the past six months. They found that they have more logins on mobile phones than on the computer.
The number of mobile banking customers is growing rapidly, but there is still more banking customers who only use the traditional internet banking. One explanation for the growth of mobile banking customers has to do with changing behaviour with the growth of more computer - like mobile devised assisted with mobile apps. It also is easier and quicker to log into an account and it is accessible at all times
Therefore having a good mobile device is vary important as Christian Clausen, CEO of Nordea explains to radio Sweden
"It is quite important and I know that our customers appreciate it very much. It is important to make it more efficient, but also for customers to do their things right in the moment they want to."
Bank apps have different security solutions such as code, bank box or mobile banking id, depending on whether one just want to check their balances or want to pay a bills.
