Scientists at Swedish institute for technology, Chalmers called for the consumption of less meat for the sake of the climate
Friday, 03 May 2013Eating less meat is the single most important measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieving the UN's climate goal. This was the conclusion drawn by researchers at the Swedish institute of technology, Chalmers in a report.
Today climate policies is focused on road transport and energy, but also the food we eat should be included, write the three researchers in the Swedish daily Svenska Dagbladet.
"Unless our habits change, what we eat in 2050 to take the entire space for discharge into the claims," warns Chalmers scientists.
