Insolvencies and bankruptcies in Sweden at a stable level despite persistent economic uncertainty

Tuesday, 05 June 2012
In May 640 companies in Sweden went bust and out of business, an increase of less than one percent compared with July 2011, when 636 companies went bankrupt. This means bankruptcies in the country’s corporate environment remain stable admits growing business uncertainty.

"The transportation industry and wholesale trade has continued to struggle, while bankruptcies actually fell slightly among the private service companies," writes UC, which keeps and brings out the bankruptcy statistics, according to a press release.
