Volvo cutting workers at Saffle
Wednesday, 03 October 2012Volvo Buse plant in Saffle, Sweden will be closing down by mid - 2013, and subject to negotiations with the unions, a total of approximately 330 permanent employees and 60 consultants will loose their jobs.
According to radio Sweden report, weak market development and intense competition in Europe has been blamed for the weak performance of Volvo meaning that Volvo Buses will now plan to concentrate production of complete buses in Europe to the company's main plant in Wroclaw, Poland.
