Volvo Car jobs disappear in Skövde, Sweden

Some 40 jobs are disappearing at Volvo Cars of Skövde, local media report blaming consequence of management's decision to cut back on production of cars during July and August after a sharp drop in sales during May.

43 temporary employees will not come back after the holidays. However, the final count has not yet been made because there may be further losses after the holidays, says production manager, Lennart Bogren, to the newspaper, Skaraborg Allehanda.
