Vestas receives record contract

The Danish windmill manufacturer Vestas Wind temporarily turned up on Monday morning after the company announced its largest service order to date.

The contract is for services of more than 1,100 wind turbines in the U.S. and Europe for up to seven years and signed with the Portuguese company EDP Renovaveis.

Vestas' share went up about 2.5 percent on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange when the news was released, but soon returned to their original levels about Dkr30.
