Three people in Saab's management suspected of economic crimes
Monday, 20 May 2013Three people from Saab Automobile's former management is suspected of serious evasion of tax for the period 2010 until 2011. Two persons have been arrested.
Radio Sweden reports that the arrested person denied the crime, referring to the chief prosecutor, Olof Sahlgren.
All three are on probable cause, suspected according to Sahlgren who will also not say exactly what the different people have been accused of, said radio Sweden.
They are suspected to have taken measures in the books, which chimes with probable cause of serious evasion of tax.
Hakan Skött, former chairman of the workers Union IF Metall at Saab automobile was on the board of the company after the Dutch Spyker had bought Saab. However, he has not heard anything about suspected tax evasion.
He told radio Sweden that the Swedish prosecutors have not contacted him to ask any questions in relations to such investigation.
