The Swedish gaming company behind "Minecraft" generates record profits

The Swedish computer game "Minecraft" create record profits for the company behind the game - Mojang.

Since 2011, the games from the company that have been computer based and which now has been recently introduced a versions for Xbox 360 and mobile phones has been growing faster than expected .

Revenue flows into the now 22 man - strong company in a seemingly perpetual and rapid stream, writes IDG. In the first fiscal year, the profit reached Skr60 million - a figure that will now multiplying.

As a result of its success, Mojang has moved from a converted apartment into a real office in Stockholm and the employees would have to avoid having to share a toilet, according to IDG.

Minecraft was created by Markus Persson and had its premiere on 18 November 2011.
