For the period January to October, the number of corporate bankruptcies
in Sweden increased to 5757 items that is, 6 percent more than in the
corresponding period of 2012.
UC notes that it is the fourth consecutive month in which it has
recorded fewer bankruptcies, which reflects a more stable economy and

profitability, which means that more and more companies are surviving,
" said UC's marketing manager, Roland Sigbladh in a comment.
He further notes that UC seeing increased optimism in several Swedish
industries, but there is uncertainty about the important private sector

"Perhaps, the debate about the high level of debt and a possible future
amortization requirements for properties has made consumers more
cautious, which can affect many industries, " he says.
