Friday, 29 June 2012
How can any organisation provide affordable healthcare and then also make profit. Is there any way such a thing can happen? At this moment, in Sweden no!

As healthcare cost in other places gradually bubbly, as Obama in the USA has gone grey just because of healthcare, as in the UK hospitals are falling off the cliff, in Sweden four major university hospitals are seeking to save Skr1.55 billion and reduce its workforce by 2,000 persons a year when at the same time, hospitals already have problems with overcrowding.

The hospitals that are forced to save are Karolinska university teaching hospital in Huddinge and Solna, Sahlgrenska university teaching hospital in Gothenburg, University of Uppsala and Skåne University Hospital in Malmö and Lund. Only in Skåne alone, 500 staff will be reduced and will cost smehalf a billion Swedish krona this year.
