Swedish companies identifying benefits from work place diversity

Companies that show aspects of work place diversity are more likely to be profitable, according to except of a survey conducted by polling organisation, TNS Sifo.

From more than half of the 500 managers in the Swedish private sector, according to the survey by TNS Sifom, on behalf of the staffing company Proffice, the difficult relationship in the Swedish work place where non Swedish looking people are hardly employed seem to be gradually changing.

Mean a third of the 500 companies have no diversity work at all, the survey shows. Most of them state that there is no impediment, but that the company for various reasons have chosen not to work with diversity.

In Sweden and according to the survey, work place diversity has to do with the gender balance, ethnicity and age.
