Around 1,000 security personnel had gone on strike protesting against the changes in working hours and shits. The strike is said to have been illegal as the strikers had not announced anything about their intent in advance, according to Anne Munck, communications officer at Kastrup airport.

The stoppage lasted over 4 hours, but for the airport it is not yet certain about how many passengers would be affected  - for number sake.
Passengers are thus required to check with their travelling companies before they head to the airport for it is not known how long it will take before traffic get back to normal.
