Saab Automobile bankruptcy administrators seeking Skr129 million
Thursday, 13 December 2012Saab Automobile's bankruptcy administrators have applied to the Vänersborg district court requesting over Skr129 million in advance fees for their work until 31 October this year.
According to media reports, Anne-Marie Pouteaux and Hans Bergqvist, want between Skr 3,500 and Skr4,500 per hour for their work to administrate the bankruptcy. Co-administrator, Kent Hägglund, would also get part of the Skr 130 million, reports radio Sweden
The administrators point to their huge pay request as being as a result of extraordinary requirements which demanded big resources in terms of personnel, along with business sense, diplomacy and commitment.
The Vänersborg district court will decide whether the administrators will get the money they have requested. First, the supervisory authority must state their opinion on the matter, which may happen before Christmas.
Saab Automobile declared bankruptcy almost a year ago, on December 19, 2011.
Just for work alone Saab Automobile's bankruptcy, according to Bergqvist and Pouteaux, took 28,800 hours to complete. Then, they have not figured in the subsidiaries Saab Tools and Saab Powertrain.
According to the district court, the money will be taken from the bankruptcy pot.
