SAS to restructure its workforce
Wednesday, 05 September 2012Scandinavian airliner, SAS is to review its organization in order to save money. A plan is to lay-off ground workers of the organization to another company. It would affect about 5,500 of its 14,000 employees, according to reports from Swedish business daily, Dagens Industri.
SAS Marketing Director Eivind Roald told the paper that it would be a way to reduce fixed costs and create more flexible organization, but that no decision has been made.
