Norwegian Telenor's chairman resigns

Norwegian Telenor chairman, Harald Norvik is leaving his job after the Norwegian Economic Development and Trade Minister Trond Giske said he has no confidence in him.

“He has now expressed a loss of confidence in Telenor's board chairman, as a result of my utterances on the TV2 in January this year. I have therefore chosen to resign as Chairman of Telenor” writes Norvik in a statement.

Norvik will continue as chairman until a new one is elected.
