Million Investments in Swedish Tourism to make it a cash cow for real

Swedish Growth Board wants to make Bohuslän, Kiruna, Stockholm archipelago, Vimmerby and Åre as tourist magnets, according to the Swedish Enterprise Minister Annie Loof and the director general of the Swedish Growth Agency (Tillväxtverket), Christina Lugnet to the Swedish business daily, Dagens Industri.

The five destinations will share Skr60 million over three years. The project is an effort to drive and the reach the goal of the industry goal of making Sweden a rewarding tourist destination by 2020 and for the sector to generate a the turnover of Skr 500 billion and employ 300 000 people, twice as many as today.
