Lower profits for Astra Zeneca

Pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca reported a profit before tax of 2.048 million USD, equivalent to about Skr14 billion for the third quarter of 2012.
The company stressed that that third-quarter net profit fell by more than 50%, due to a sharp decline in revenue driven primarily by the loss of patent protection on its antischizophrenia drug Seroquel IR.
