Loomis is expanding its co-operation with Bankomat AB – now responsible for 2,000 ATMs

Thursday, 20 December 2012
Loomis has expanded its co-operation with bank-owned, Bankomat AB, in Sweden, meaning that Loomis will manage all of Bankomat AB’s approximately 2,000 ATMs. Loomis already had the responsibility for managing approximately 1,000 ATMs on the basis of a four-year agreement signed during autumn 2011. This new, extended agreement, runs for a further four years.

In addition to replenishing the ATMs and the counting of cash, Loomis will also provide certain emergency servicing of the machines. The value of this new agreement is approximately MSEK 100 per year, which means that the total order value amounts to MSEK 200 on an annual basis. The extended agreement will contribute an increase in revenue during 2013 of slightly more than half of the annual order value.
Bankomat AB (previously known as BAB, Bankernas Automatbolag) was established in September 2010 by Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, SEB and Swedbank and has, since that time, successively taken over the management of the owner banks’ approximately 2,000 withdrawal and deposit ATMs, under the brand name Bankomat.
