LinkedIn very popular with Swedish professionals as One million Swedes get on board.

The Social media site more popular for the Swedish professionals today
is LinkedIn. According to latest review, one-fifth of Sweden's labour
force is now registered on the career network site, which has more than
161 million members worldwide.
Since the Swedish office was launched in July 2011, LinkedIn has
invested heavily in the Swedish market, including the launching its
site in Swedish in November. Since then, LinkedIn also started up a
local marketing team to support the Swedish advertisers.
“Sweden has the most active members of LinkedIn and is among the most
engaged in social media across Europe. We know for example that 62
percent of the population regularly visit social networking sites (a
high figure compared to other European countries) and that 35 percent
use the web to find new job opportunities,” said Lars Inger Ladle, head
of LinkedIn's Sweden office.
