Investment company, Oresund enjoys increased worth

Investment AB Öresund , owned largely by financier Mats Qviberg, reported a net asset value on June 30 at Skr121 per share.
Since the year-end, the net asset value of the company's net worth grew by 11.7 percent, adjusted for dividends.

Öresund reported a profit before tax of Skr 294 million for the first six months, compared with a profit of Skr152 million the same period in 2012.
The company acquired securities worth Skr 418 million and sold that worth Skr367 million in the second quarter.

The Group's major individual net purchases of securities during the period, are Handelsbanken for Skr55 million. The Company's major individual net sales consisted of Ericsson for Skr62 million and SCA for Skr55 million.

The Öresund Group consists of the parent company, Investment AB Öresund, which is a pure investment company active in asset management, and the subsidiary, Ven Capital AB, engaged in securities trading as a complement to the parent company´s investment management activities.
