Fall in increasing orders for the Swedish industries

New orders for Swedish industrial sectors continue to struggle
following the decrease in April with decreasing new orders also in May.
According to statistic Sweden, the decrease was 2.6 percent compared to
the previous month in seasonally adjusted figures. When comparing May
of this year to the same month of the previous year, new orders
decreased by 6.1 percent in calendar adjusted figures.
The majority of the industry sub-sectors showed negative development.
The transport equipment and the motor vehicle industry developed the
weakest while the electrical equipment industry developed strongest.
During the last three-month period March-May 2013, new orders in total
increased by 2.3 percent compared to the previous three-month period,
December 2012-February 2013, in seasonally adjusted figures.
Domestic market and the export market saw new orders in monthly
development showing a decrease of 3.5 and 2.1 percent respectively. The
domestic markets and the export markets three-month comparisons showed
however, like the total market, positive development figures of 5.6 and
0.2 percent respectively, said statistic Sweden.
