Fall for VOLVO cars sales in the USA
Friday, 02 November 2012Volvo Car Corporation has seen Volvo cars sales in the U.S. fell by 14.3 percent in October, compared with the same month in the 2011.
Part of the decrease is probably as a result of the hurricane Sandys ravages, according to speculation.
For the total U.S. market in 2012, it was estimated by Sandy that 14.9 million cars would be sold according to trade magazine Automotive News. Now, after the storm days, the annual figure has been adjusted down to 14.3 million.
Volvo October decline is analysed as the worse in the U.S. market. Other car markers have seen their sales increased sharply, for example BMW up by 21 percent, and VW by 22.
