Denmark showing signs of interest in the Swedish fighter jets Grippen.

Denmark's defence minister Nicolai Wammen on Monday visited Sweden to
learn more about Jas 39 Gripen, making a sign of U-turn for Denmark, to
show interest in the Swedish fighter jets.

Denmark is making a procurement of a fighter aircraft and JAS 39 Gripen
is said to be one of four candidates which is catching the interest of
Denmark interrupted the process of buying fighter jets in 2010, but wants to resume in the spring.
The meeting between the Danish delegation and representatives of FXM,
the Swedish Armed Forces, Defence Material Administration and Saab was
conducted at Saab facilities in Linköping.
"This is because the Danish delegation expressed a desire to see the production of the airplanes "the press release said.
In addition to JAS Gripen, Denmark is also looking on the American
products from Lockheed Martin, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and the
F-18 from Boeing and the European Eurofighter.
