Chinese soon to start selling their version of Saab
Tuesday, 08 May 2012
Chinese version of the old Saab 9-5 has reached the stage of development that it will begin shipping later this year.
The model, developed by Beijing-based BAIC, will be called C70G and gets a two-liter turbo engine, says Automotive News China.
The 9-5 platform was purchased by BAIC in December 2009 and has been
the backbone of the company's development of the now-shelf-ready model.
It is intended to be followed by a few more models, built on the same
platform, according to reports.
