Alfa Laval wins SEK 70 million energy efficiency order to a university in the US

Alfa Laval has won an order for heat exchanger systems to be used for district heating at a university in the US. The order is worth approximately SEK 70 million and delivery is scheduled to start in 2012 and be finalized in 2014.

According to a press release, the Alfa Laval heat exchanger systems, which include various heat exchangers, will be used in district heating substations for the university, to reduce the energy consumption of the domestic heat requirements for the campus.

With Alfa Laval’s heat exchanger systems, it is possible to monitor and manage the climate and hot water temperatures at each building separately – ensuring maximum energy savings.
