Alfa Laval wins SEK 120 million-energy efficiency order in Saudi Arabia
Wednesday, 07 November 2012Alfa Laval has received an order to supply Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers to one of the world’s largest petrochemical complexes in Saudi Arabia.
The order value is approximately SEK 120 million and delivery is scheduled to start in 2013 and be finalized in 2014, the company said in a press release.
The Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers will be used in the catalytic processing sections in the production of mixed Xylenes used for synthetic nylons and PET bottles, among other things, the company say.
“The order confirms Alfa Laval's strong position as a provider of energy efficient solutions to the refinery and petrochemical industry”, says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group, in a press release.
“Our Packinox heat exchangers have a proven track record of being the ultimate choice in these demanding applications,” the CEO adds.
